Couples Counselling
Relationships go through periods where communication breaks down, old patterns resurface, or you simply feel more like housemates than partners. Couples counselling offers a space to slow down, be heard by someone neutral, and work out together what you actually want going forward — whether that's rebuilding trust, learning to communicate differently, or getting some clarity on where things stand.
I work with couples in person in Gibraltar, and by arrangement in Sotogrande, or online via Zoom for clients in Spain, the UK and worldwide.
What to expect
Sessions are a chance for both of you to speak and be listened to, often about things that are difficult to say directly to each other at home.
My role isn't to take sides or tell you what to do. It's to help you both explore what's happening between you, understand some of the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and create space for a different kind of conversation.
Some couples come with a specific issue they want to work through. Others come because something feels off and they're not sure what. Both are a reasonable place to start.
A no-secrets approach
I work with couples on a no-secrets basis. This means I won't hold information told to me privately by one partner that I then keep from the other. Information that is relevant to the couples work needs to be able to be brought into the shared space.
This is worth knowing before we start, as it shapes how sessions are structured and what you can expect from confidentiality within the couple work itself.

Getting started
If you're not sure whether couples counselling is right for you, that's completely normal — most people aren't, at first.
Feel free to get in touch and we can talk through what you're facing and whether this feels like a good fit, with no pressure either way.
